East Coast Realtors, Inc. opened its doors in 1992 and hasn’t slowed down since. With the guidance of founders George Kallem and Daniel Algar, East Coast has become not only the area’s largest realtor, but also an innovative office on the cutting edge of the real estate industry. In 1999, East Coast expanded and opened an office in Great Neck, allowing the company to better service the many customers moving between Nassau and Queens counties.

The Driving Force

With over 28 years of experience in real estate, Danny Algar knows a thing or two about the business. He learned the ropes on the south shore of Queens, and quickly moved up through the ranks to become the sales manager of Van Riper Realtors and then the sales manager of Prudential Long Island Realty. His knowledge of the intricacies and legalities of real estate as well as his negotiating savvy have made East Coast a leader in real estate.

George Kallem began his real estate career 15 years ago after studying architecture at Hofstra University. Within a year he became Prudential’s top agent in Queens. Realizing his potential, he teamed up with Danny in 1992 to open East Coast Realtors. George still enjoys the fine art of listing and selling real estate, specializing in luxury properties. His detailed knowledge of the real estate market provides our sellers and buyers with the information they need to make smart real estate choices.
